Registration FAQs

How do I register?

  • Click the Buy Tickets button above, select your desired tickets, and click the Checkout button.

  • ​Enter your name, email address, etc. and click the Submit button. 

  • Review the confirmation screen that appears, and click the Buy Now button.

  • ​Click the button for your desired method of payment: credit/debit card, or PayPal account.

  • Enter your payment and billing information, and click the Pay Now button.

  • ​Review the confirmation screen. If desired, click to add the event to your calendar or save/print your confirmation.

  • You will promptly receive an email with your ticket attached. Be sure to bring your ticket to the event.​​

How does payment work?

  • You can pay by credit card, debit card, or PayPal. You pay online during the registration process. 

    • Payments are processed securely by the Child Abuse Prevention Council's PayPal account.

    • Payment will appear on your statement as "PAYPAL *SANTABARBAR 4029357733 CA" with memo "Tickets Order - BRIDGES TO RESILIENCE 2019."

  • What if my organization prefers to pay by check, warrant, or purchase order?

    • We try to avoid that. Can you check out a corporate card instead? Can you use your personal card and get reimbursed instead?

    • We can at our discretion accept multiple-ticket orders paid by check, warrant, or purchase order. The process works differently; you'll fill out a spreadsheet rather than registering online, and you'll arrange payment with Children & Family Resource Services. Contact Gloria Munoz for details.​

  • Are refunds available?

    • If you paid online by credit card or PayPal, refunds are available through October 7, 2019.​ 

    • If you paid by check, warrant, or purchase order, refunds may not be available. 

    • As an alternative to a refund, you're welcome to send someone in your place. Just contact us with their name and contact info, and we'll replace your name with theirs on the roster.

What if I need to buy multiple tickets?

  • Only one name and email address is collected per order. So we strongly suggest that you buy one ticket per order, using the attendee's name and email address (not yours) on each order.

    • That way we'll have every attendee's name and email address for confirmation emails, name tags, and the sign-in sheet.

    • Need a receipt for your fiscal paperwork? Use the printable, downloadable confirmation screen that appears after you pay.

  • We realize some organizations may need to buy a block of tickets without knowing the names of all attendees yet. If you do choose to buy multiple tickets in a single order, just remember that the only name and email address collected is yours. That means:

    • You are responsible to forward the tickets and reminder emails to each of your desired attendees. We won't have their names and emails. We won't be able to admit them unless they bring their ticket.

    • You're welcome to include attendee names in the Notes field, or contact us with the names once you know them. If you provide only the names, then the tickets will remain in your name but we can make name tags for your attendees. If you provide COMPLETE information for each person (including title, phone number, and email address), then we can at our discretion replace the ticket block with individual tickets issued directly to each attendee in their own name.

What if I need CEUs?

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available as follows:

  • This conference meets the qualifications for 6 hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs as required by the Board of Behavioral Sciences. Casa Pacifica Centers for Children and Families is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs, LCSWs, LEPs, and LPCCs (Provider 016190). Casa Pacifica maintains responsibility for this program and its content.​

  • This conference meets the qualifications for 6 hours of continuing education credit Certified Addictions Treatment Counselors (CATC) as required by the California Association for Alcohol and Drug Educators (CAADE) (Provider CP20 860 C 1120).

  • Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP2553, for 4 ½  contact hours.

To register and obtain your CEUs:

  1. Choose the desired ticket as follows, and complete your registration.

    • For LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, LEPs, and CATCs: choose the "Registration (with CEUs)" ticket to prepay the $60 fee.

    • For nurses: choose the "Registration (w/ Nursing CEUs)" ticket to prepay the $10 fee.

  2. Check in at the Casa Pacifica table at the beginning of the event, and receive your blank survey.​

  3. Check out a the Casa Pacifica table at the end of the event, and submit your completed survey.​
